Taught an introductory course about the materials and mechanics of oil painting and the fundamentals of visual language. Began with basics of line, form, values, composition, and color and integrated mind/body techniques for relaxation and focus.

Taught a multi-level course for beginning and intermediate painters working in oil or acrylic. Course focused on individual development and integrated mind/body techniques for relaxation and focus.

Co-Presenter, Creativity & New Product Design Workshop, MIT Sloan School of Management 2003
Co-created and presented a workshop with MIT professor Dan Ariely for Sloan students to explore concepts of creativity and innovation from artistic and systematic approaches.

On-Line Facilitator, MTV and ShiNE365, New York, NY 2001
Facilitated an interactive on-line discussion board on topics ranging from "High Tech Hate" to "Adoptions by Gay Couples." This was an effort by MTV, ShiNE365 (Seeking Harmony in Neighborhoods Everywhere 365) and the Anti-Defamation League.

Designed and taught three 1½-hour art sessions titled "Who Am I? Drawing from Nature" for 30 adolescent girls
as part of the Connecting with Courage summer program.

Designed and taught visual art classes while sharing staff responsibilities for two 1-week sessions at this residential
summer camp that empowers teens through connections with creativity, nature, and a diverse community.

Planned and curated an art exhibit and arts festival celebrating cultural diversity with the Boston Area Returned Peace Corps Volunteers at the Somerville Museum. 21 artists represented over 18 countries where they lived, worked or served as Peace Corps Volunteers. Entertained over 150 people with music, storytelling and crafts. Received local press coverage for the show's opening, which was attended by over 300 people. Nominated for 1997 Ruppe Award given by the National Peace Corps Association.
